Leon is away this week in Taiwan.  It's the first trip he took without having any help in the house.  So I thought I'd write about what we do every day so he wouldn't miss a thing.

 

 

The boys and I went to the pumpkin patch in Mission Valley.  When I organized this with a group of friends, he was going to leave on Monday.  We were all disappointed that he couldn't join us after all.  He left just before 5am to airport. 

 

The boys woke up at 8am.  Before Leon left, we asked the boys what they want Daddy to bring home, Ian said cookies, and Isaac said strawberry cookies.  So when I told them Daddy went on a business trip to Taiwan, Isaac said he went to buy cookies? 

 

We ate some egg fried rice and took off 9am sharp.  We stopped to get a  car wash, and some gas.  We got to pumpkin station by 9:45.  Phone started ring right away, people seemed to have a hard time finding the pumpkin station by Macy's. 

 

We have a total of 25 kids showed up, and parents having exact change really helped to speed the process.  Isaac and Ian had been very patient to wait for me to collect the money, distribute the tickets, and give direction for parents what to do. 

 

We first went to the small train ride.  Then the boat ride, the cage ride, the swing ride, petting area, train ride again (and again), and then the giant slides.  Ian loved the train ride, but after getting on the boat ride, Ian didn't care for the rest.  Isaac had so much fun.  We then went for a lunch in the mall with food we brought.

 

They crashed in the car on our way back.  But when we got home, they were wide awake again. 

 

We went out for some shopping around 4, then went to eat Pho for dinner.  And of course they auto-pilot to the yogurt shop next door.  We got home and took a bath at 7 and slept by 8:30.

 

 

No school today due to Columbus Day.  Set them up for Thomas the Tank Engine while I got some work done.  Ate breakfast, dressed, and loaded them onto the car. 

 

First we went to office to log a check for an offer we wrote over the weekend.  Then we headed for Lake Miramar to feed the birds.  They loved feeding birds/ducks.  Spent about an hour there.  Got home and ate noodle.  Isaac said he would sleep with Ian in Daddy's room.  But they kept playing the train while I dozed off. 

 

I managed to cook, got some work done, and played with them a little bit.  We finished eating by 6pm, and had them showed by 6:45.  We swang by our friends' to pick up an offer.  By the time we got home Ian was over-tired.  Brushed the teeth, had some water, and got on bed.  Slept by 9pm.

 

 

 School day, so I could actually get some work done.  We ate at Sam Woo, and took home some left over for the next day. 

 

 

Actually took them with me to show a couple of houses after.  What a headache.  Had left overs on Wednesday, and McDonald's Happy Meal on Thursday.

 

Overall, we did well.  At least they made it to school before 8 for their breakfast everyday, and were fed at night, for the most part.  But I am fairly tired by the end, and my back needed an adjustment from my chiropractor bad.
